  1. 1. Check out a few Travel Channel or Food Network shows on Thailand and do a little general research
    2. Learn to, at the very least, words of greeting and thanks
    3. It’s going to be very hot and humid at this time, dress for the weather
    4. Yes, the floating market is not to be missed.
    5. Be adventurous but safe. Go where a lot of locals go (especially for eats)
    6. Watch out for some of the beautiful “ladies” you may see going about. Are they women or men?
    7. Know where you are staying, have the 411 in English
    8. Have the contact information for your country’s embassy
    9. Bring back a elephant jewry piece for your girl. Make sure it has a ruby or rubies on it. Thailand is famous for its rubies.
    10. Enjoy yourself and know that you don’t have to do every thing!

  2. The floating market is an experience that few wants to miss while in Thailand. You get to see how the Thais use the waterways as their primary means of cheap transportation in the old days and carry out trading from their crafts. You see sellers of farm produce, animal produce, gifts and even cooking food, all from the boats in the water. You can either signal the boat with the stuff you want to pull over to your side, or you can wait for them to come by to show you their wares, or you can hire a small boat and go among them to look for your choices. You may even find interesting gifts for your girlfriend there.

Another place to hunt for novel gift will be the Chatuchak Weekend Market. If you happen to be there over the weekend. Quite an experience. And do look into some of the dinty satalls, they might have something unique for your selection.

Bangkok is the shopping capital of the region. You should be able to find something. Clothes are cheap in Pratunam. If you know what she likes to wear, you can find something there to suit her too.

  3. try this website… lot of interesting information… have a nice trip
