The Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel & Resort may not be the newest hotel in the red light district of Nana in Bangkok. But it's girl friendly policy and close proximity to Nana Entertainment Plaza has made this hotel a popular standby for frequent travelers to Bangkok.
Quality:
The Woraburi Hotel is a 3 star hotel tucked away on Sukhumvit Soi 4. Which is just about right with my review and expectations. They do consider themselves a resort yet there really isn't too much of a resort quality or amenities. I'm not saying that they are purposely misleading anyone becauseyou usually get more for what you pay for hotels in Bangkok compared to hotels elsewhere.
Value:
There are 5 room types to choose from at the Woraburi Sukhumvit.
Standard (20 sqm.) Superior (25 sqm.) Deluxe (30 sqm.) Grand Deluxe (36 sqm.) Woraburi Room (52 sqm.)
Standard rooms at time of writing cost 1100 THB including daily buffet breakfast. But as you can see 20 sqm. is a bit tight. The Woraburi room cost 2880 THB for a big space and in my opinion well worth it. The Woraburi is quite old and it seems the hotel exterior is better maintained then the rooms. However, you can expect clean rooms. The Woraburi Sukhumvit is also girl friendly so you don't have to pay a 500 THB joiner fee for bringing an unregistered guest back to your room. This is a big money saver especially since most men do bring ladies back to their rooms after spending time in a go go bar. You do have to pay extra for Wi-Fi Internet access, but at least there's a nice swimming pool.
Location:
Woraburi Sukhumvit is a 5 minute stroll to the red light district of Nana Entertainment Plaza. Another red light district called Soi Cowboy is only a 20 minute walk away too. It's no surprise that Woraburi is one of the most popular girl friendly hotels in Bangkok. Plus it doesn't hurt that the location is in the center of Bangkok with many bars, pubs and restaurants to eat and get drunk in. The BTS Sky Train is a 10 minute walk and can take you to other points of interest in Bangkok easily.
Conclusion:
If you want a nice budget hotel that offers comfort and convenience and in a central location then the Woraburi Sukhumvit is an excellent choice. Remember though, this hotel is near two popular red light districts. So even though resort is a part of the hotel's name you may not want to take your wife and kids here.

Finding the right bar girl in Bangkok's go go bars can be a whole lot of fun. But what's not fun is heading back to your hotel and finding out you have to pay a 500 Baht joiner fee so that your bar girl can stay overnight in your room. Talk about ruining the mood.
That's why it's important to book a hotel in Bangkok that has a bar girl friendly policy. These hotels will never charge you extra for taking a lady back to your room. It's probably even more important since 500 Baht a night can really add up, especially if you're on a budget.
Luckily there are many bar girl friendly hotels throughout Bangkok. And most of them are just a stones throw to Bangkok's popular sex districts.
Now most people email me asking me which is the best sex district to find a bar girl friendly hotel. I always recommend the Nana sex district. Why? Well mainly because Nana has the most clubs and bars to pick up ladies in. And my personal favorite for go go bars is inside the Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP).
My Personal favorite go go bars in NEP are Angel Witch and Rainbows. Remember in go go bars you have to pay a 500 Baht bar fine to the go go bar before your lady can leave the bar with you. It's non negotiable.
The best bar girl friendly hotels in Nana are the Majestic Suites, Dawin Hotel, Amari Boulevard, Landmark Hotel and the JW Marriott.
Staying in any of these hotels will also put you in walking distance to Soi Cowboy, another popular sex district filled with go go bars. You can literally walk to Soi Cowboy in about 10 minutes.
There's another sex district called Patpong. You can get there by taking the BTS Sky Train to Sala Daeng station. The good thing about the bar girl friendly hotels I mentioned in the Nana area is that there's a BTS Station near them too. So it's a convenient location for nightlife action.
Remember most bar girl friendly hotels require your lady of the night to leave her Thai I.D. card with the hotel's security desk. It's only for your protection. And make sure you book your room ahead of time since most of these hotels are very popular.

Bar girl friendly hotels are some of the most popular accommodation choices in Bangkok. They range from budget to high end luxury hotels. But if you've been reading my articles then you know the best time to take advantage of great hotel rates is when they first open. And in this article you'll find out 3 of the best and newest bar girl friendly hotels in Bangkok.
Just to clarify, a bar girl friendly hotel means that the hotel will not charge you a fee for taking a bar girl back to your room. You may have also heard of guest friendly or girl friendly hotels. Bar girl friendly hotels run just like any other business or leisure hotel in Bangkok. So don't worry they are not some filthy sex motels.
This year Bangkok's red light district of Nana has seen an explosion of new visitors. So it's no small coincidence that Nana has most newest hotels built in the area to meet the demands of guests from all over the world.
The President Palace is one such new bar girl friendly hotel located on the forever popular Soi 11 on Sukhumvit road. The President Palace is part of a popular hotel chain in Bangkok, renowned for excellent service and high quality. Their standard rooms are spacious and since it's new you'll never have to worry about the room quality. The President Palace is just a 10 minute walk to Nana Entertainment Plaza and a 15 minute walk to Soi Cowboy. There's also a Sky Train station not too far away.
Next newest bar girl friendly hotel is the Ibis Nana Hotel. Ibis is another popular hotel name and their newest hotel is located just a short 3 minute walk to Nana Entertainment Plaza where you can find some of the best go go bars in Bangkok. This Ibis hotel is an ideal location for taking bar girls and freelance girls back to your room, without paying for a short time hotel room. The Ibis Nana Hotel only has standard rooms and are on the small side but still comfortable.
Finally another new bar girl friendly hotel worth mentioning is the On 8 Sukhumvit Hotel located on Sukhumvit road Soi 8. This is a very modern hotel with a professional staff. Just right outside of On 8 hotel on the opposite street are many freelance ladies to pick up. Plus it doesn't hurt that On 8 is just a 5 minute walk to Nana Entertainment Plaza.
All three of these hotels are new and they've reduced their room rates to attract new guests to their doors. They'll probably raise their rates in about another year so it's a good idea to take advantage of their rates today.

In the early 1920s King Prajadhipok decided to build a summer retreat from Bangkok’s politics and from its soaring pre-monsoon temperatures and high humidity. He chose to build his new palace near the tranquil fishing village of Hua Hin, and the place hasn’t looked back since. He named it ‘Klai Kangwon’, which means ‘Far from Worries’, a name that could not have been more inappropriate as, whilst on holiday here in 1932, he was toppled from power in a typically-Thai bloodless coup that replaced nearly 700 years of absolute monarchy with a constitutional one. Over the following years Hua Hin became a holiday destination for the court and nobility and later, after the building of the southern railway, it evolved into the kingdom’s first beach resort.
Hua Hin lies at a similarly close distance from Bangkok as does Pattaya, so for visitors with only a short time in the kingdom both are possible destinations. The two resorts, however, cater to entirely different visitors’ needs. Whilst Pattaya is wild and hedonistic, Hua Hin is a place where quieter, usually older people prefer to spend their holidays and to buy holiday homes. Whilst the standards of its resorts, spas, golf and cuisine are at least as high as those in Pattaya, it is a much cleaner place, in every sense of the word. Young adults will likely get bored of its genteel atmosphere and early closing times, and there are better theme parks to amuse young children in Pattaya. Budget travelers will dislike the high prices and lack of a youth culture. Hua Hin is not a very exciting place, but for holiday-makers after peace and quiet and who don’t have long in the kingdom, its proximity to Bangkok make it the best choice.
The 5 kilometre long beach is wide and as relatively clean as is the sea. A little south of the Marriott, check out the tiny sand crabs digging away industriously and leaving convoluted patterns in the sand around their beachfront residences. Visitors can rent a pony for a ride down the beach, but are advised to treat with skepticism claims by the owners that these animals are strong enough to carry average-sized Western men, as they are about the same size as the ponies 12 year old English girls typically ride to gymkanas.
Golf is extremely popular in Hua Hin and the area has seven international-standard courses designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus. There are a number of first class spas in and around the town, of which the most famous is the spa at the Chiva Som Resort, pioneers in holistic health services who thankfully don’t use that annoying word ‘wellness’ to describe what they do.
Kaeng Krachan National Park, 63 kilometres north of the town, is Thailand’s largest and supposedly supports populations of elephants and tigers. Visitors are, however, rather more likely to see much smaller wildlife, such as the myriad butterflies that flutter around the 11-tier Pa La-U waterfall, accessed via trails through the virgin rain-forest.
Whilst thinking about Thailand, why not check out one of the country’s currently best three beach destinations:
Visiting Bangkok's red light districts for the first time could induce a real serious case of lock jaw and whiplash as beautiful Thai bar girls prance and dance all around you. It can be quite intimidating when you step out the door of your hotel and dive deep into the pool of sex, booze and sin known as Bangkok's red light districts.
Bangkok has 3 major red light districts designed to keep foreign men entertained while spending money. The first and foremost for every first timer to Bangkok is Patpong, the place where the go go bar culture sprang forth. Then we have the red light districts of Nana and Soi Cowboy, the slightly raunchier and sleazier havens for sex.
The red light district of Patpong comprises of several small lanes and streets with a mixture of go go bars for straights, gay bars for gays and lesbians and even a sliver of road called Thaniya created especially for high paying Japanese customers. Most of Patpong's action happens on Patpong1 and Patpong 2, both streets run parallel to each other.
Nana red light district is where you can find a lot of Thai freelancer hang out spots such as the parking lot of the Nana hotel or along the beer gardens on Sukhumvit Soi 4 and Soi 7. But Nana's red light district is centered around Nana Entertainment Plaza, a small 3 story complex with an open center for beer bars.
Finally there's Soi Cowboy, the smallest red light district but certainly the most wicked. Here you can find long standing and popular go go bars such as Long Gun, Cowboys and Rawhide. Though Soi Cowboy's prices for drinks and adultainment are a bit higher, it's early evening happy hours is a great way to start of the the night.
One thing you should always remember as a first timer in a go go bar is to not to tell a bar girl it's your first time in Bangkok. Bar girls will assume you don't know the rates they charge and will double the prices for their services.
When it comes to the language barrier in Bangkok's red light districts most will have someone who can speak English, such as a Mamasan or Papasan. They kind of act like managers and work to make sure you have a good time. Most bar girls can speak English too. But this means they've been well worn around the edges and been in the go go bar scene for quite some time.
Getting to Bangkok's red light districts is really easy especially when you use the BTS train systems. These trains run on elevated tracks above the traffic packed streets of Bangkok's commercial zone. The fares are cheap and the train compartments are nice and chilly from a hot Bangkok day.

Bangkok's bar girls and freelancers are some of the most beautiful women in the world. It's the reason why men fly long hours across the world to be with them. But do you know what bar girls and freelancers really think about you? Find out how to avoid the frequent pit falls and mistakes most first time visitors to Bangkok make.
Thai girls who work in the sex industry as bar girls and freelancers may seem shy the first time you meet them. But deep inside their minds they are calculating how much they can withdraw from you, the human ATM machine.
It's true that you can have a lot of fun with Thai bar girls whether it's sexual or non-sexual. They can brighten up your day with a simple sniff kiss or a not so innocent touch across your thigh. But minus your ability to remember your ATM PIN number and you won't even get a second look or a fart in your direction. That's just the cold hard truth.
Because most people have the notion that if you're a foreigner a Thai girl will automatically fall in love with you. That's nonsense. Thai bar girls and freelancers know there are rich foreigners and then there are poor foreigners.
This is the way you, as a first time visitor in Bangkok's red light districts should view how things really work in Bangkok. Most come in hopes of finding a girlfriend or a wife in a go go bar. I know that sounds crazy. But if you've seen as many broken hearts and emptied bank accounts from foreigners as I have then you would understand too. Live in Thailand like I do and you will preach the same.
Thai bar girls and freelancers are there for one reason. Let's just call it business. You pay them for their time so when they are with you they are on the clock. You can take bar girls and freelancers to a dinner and a movie. A 3 day trip to Phuket. You can discuss how much you love your cat and how much you want to stay in Thailand and then have sex. They are your temporary girlfriend and provide a 'girlfriend experience' to you. Try and ask them to have sex for free and see what happens.
By the end of her contracted time you may have fallen in love with her. That's a major first timer mistake. The Western idea of love is not completely the same as Thais. The only men who truly understand Thai bar girls and freelancers are Thai men, frequent visitors and expats in Thailand.
Are all bar girls and freelancers this evil and malicious? No. But the odds of you finding a good one is quite slim. Not unless you have so much money in the world that you don't care. Even though you now know the truth you should always respect bar girls and freelancers. They are a lot smarter then you think. Respect them and their boundaries and they will return the favor.
So if you are looking for love in Thailand do what I do. Meet a Thai girl who doesn't work in the sex industry. There are many. Remember when you come to visit bar girls and freelancers, it's nothing personal, just business.

As soon as I arrived in Thailand, I came across her. The real treasure, the one I had been waiting for; the one who could see my real qualities. She was young, charming and interested in my welfare. She showed me love like I had never experienced before.
It has happened. You're hooked and the reel is spinning.
You love her, and you are sure that she loves you. She has told you and even demonstrated to you many times during your short stay in Thailand.
Unfortunately, the chosen one, the love of your life may very well be very different from who you think she is.
Something is for sure: If you have met her in a beer bar, go-go or a massage parlor, it is more likely that despite her immature behavior and her sincere responses that deeply touch you, she is in fact an awesome manipulator.
She will know how to string you along to pity her and to make you feel guilty, until you feel miserable.
Move you to pity her:
When she starts to talk about her financial problems (or those of her family) - her mother or father being sick in Isaan; the son or the brother who has to go to school in Bangkok; the roof of her parents' house that is leaking and need to be fixed…. Some time ago, the best excuse was the sick buffalo….
Make you feel guilty:
Asking you to give her this money in a devious way. Claiming that if you cannot help her, she will either have to return working in Pattaya (or where you met her), or she will have to find another farang. And placing the responsibility for all of these bills on you.
Some people call it 'The Game'. And it is played in many various ways with the rules continuously changing, so that she will be the only one to know what they are.
In most cases, you will help her to come out of 'hell'. Hell for you, but for her it's often a paradise together with a gold mine. She will promise to you that she will stay in her room or even in her family home in Kon Khaen (Isaan), waiting for your calls or your SMS's while watching TV. Once this affirmation has made its way into your brain, and together with all the evidence of her love for you during your stay, you will be able to return home, sad and depressed but confident that you have found, the right girl for you !?
Unfortunately, for you, this word, she has already promised it to one or two other farangs who were both as gullible and as madly in love with her as you are.
She will then ask you to send money to help her, calling on your pity, as we said before (the motives given here are only examples, but there are many more variations…). You will send money happily on her first requests (like the other two, three or four farang, and each of you will do this at the same time, and this will make her a good income to add to her regular job).
Then there will come the time when doubt and suspicion pop up between the two of you. Two or three phone calls unanswered, or a strange noise (for a room or a home in the country…) in the background; like the din of Thai disco or the noise of a go-go. Or another surprise, the "brother" who answers the phone.
And here comes the time when you will feel guilty. If you can't or don't want to pay anymore, the blackmail will start. It will be because of you (because you don't give her 'the little money' she asks you for - all farang are so rich!) if she has to return to work in 'hell' with all those bad farang who will abuse her. And if it is not enough she will tell you that she will be forced to find a (rich) farang who truly loves her - and her family.
But in that case, you will have already spent a lot of money and your heart will be wounded. You will have spent many sleepless nights, and your telephone bills will have jumped sky high.
